Sweet and Sour Chicken

                                        Sweet and Sour Chicken

1cup brown sugar
2tbl. cornstarch
1cup red wine vinegar
1can pineapple tidbits w/juice
1red bell pepper diced
1green bell pepper
2tbl. soy sauce (kikkomans)
2 cloves garlic minced
1/2tsp. ground ginger

Sauce directions:
In a saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch, add all other ingredients.cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly. remove from heat.

Chicken Directions:
Cut up 3-4 chicken breast into bite size chunks.
In a bowl mix together:
1 egg
1/4cup flour
1/4cup cornstarch
3tblspoons chicken base or bullion, dissolved in1/4cup water
Mix well then add the chicken. fry until golden brown, drain on paper towel.add the chicken to the warm sauce and spoon over rice.
